In partnership with Lakeridge Health, DC is creating an online course to build mentorship capacity for new and experienced nurses at Lakeridge Health. In an effort to provide ongoing support for preceptors, this collaboration introduces an innovative approach to preceptor training; creating an online community of practice, sharing challenges and identifying common training issues. Lakeridge Health and DC are working together to refresh teaching and learning principles, while making it accessible from the comfort of your own home. This new training program will enhance the DC student experience for students on placement and optimize the number of quality work integrated learning for students at Lakeridge placements.
